Originally from South Carolina Dr. McClearen received his under graduate BS degree in 1970 from the University of Georgia and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1974 also from the University of Georgia school of Veterinary Medicine. He spent the first 30 years in the Acworth Georgia area as the founder and owner of Bells Ferry Veterinary Hospital. He currently enjoys the opportunity of working in a rural setting where he can spend time with people and their pets. He also volunteers in community services, working with the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, farming and experiencing the outdoors. His wife also works in the animal world as the owner and operator of Cohutta Country Store.
Sandy is originally from Ohio where she earned her Business Degree. She has been the Receptionist/Office Manager for TCAC since July 2011. Along with her husband and their two children, they have a small farm full of chickens, doves, ducks and anything else that might come across their land, including their pet squirrel. TCAC is a great place to work with a very friendly atmosphere for both our clients and their pets. Come by and see us!
Trey Moyer, Veterinary Assistant
Trey was raised in Fort Myers, Florida but has lived in Hayesville, North Carolina for the past ten years. He attended Hayesville High School and graduated from Tri-County Community College. He has been here at LCAH for the past three years and you will find Trey doing any and everything. Trey has worked in all of the positions here so he can do it all. He is a real softy for all of the pets who come to our hospital and their families and takes very good care of them. He states that being here for the four-legged animals and their owners brings him joy. He is married to Ashley and they have two children, Lily 6 years old) and Braxton (16 months old) and they have quite a menagerie of pets. He enjoys hunting and fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family.
